First Gas Fill-up: Range: 483km - Whats yours?

So the first time I filled up (full tank), the range on the computer said 483km. Today I filled up for the 2nd time ever (full tank) and the range only said 450km.

Only an estimated 450km on a full tank? Is that correct?

What do your cars say after you fill up a full tank?

It depends on the type of driving you are doing when you go to fill up. If you have been driving highway, then when you fill up you will have a higher range. If you are doing alot of city driving, then the range will be less. I have gotten 350 when driving highway and when driving city around 280.

I've found that it seems to need a lot of "data" to accuratly display the right info. Once I got to about 50km on that tank it seems to be more accurate. I too have gone through one tank, and I got almost 500km on the dot. I would say I am a "spirited" driver.

I've gotten anywhere from 450km to 650km on a tank - 450km being 90% city 10% hwy, and 650km is all hwy.

Range after a fill up I think is actually around 480km as well.

That sounds more like it, I usually get an estimated 500-550km on a full tank.

Same as psyh, typically at about 500-550, with about 50-50 city-hwy semi-spirited drive.

To date, based on the display:

Best case 619 Km
Worst case 438 Km

Usually somewhere in between.

So all the American's on the board I see are just like me, too lazy to convert from Metric. I get about 340 miles per tank, I'm mainly highway driving which in Los Angeles can be just the same as city mileage.

So I reset the screen that calulated my average speed and average MPG and now its more accurate. Based on the total km's travelled so far plus the expected range, it's in the 500's.

Agreed -- car looks at the average rate of fuel consumption you've been driving prior to filling up.

I got a reading of 430 miles (690km) after I filled up (15.5 gallons = 58.6 L) after driving on the 401. No way could I get 690km on a tank, let me tell you! But I am very happy I can obtain 27-28 miles / US gallons consistently on this car on the highway.
