Tony Graham- Ottawa has 2 G37S in the lot

I went to have maintenance done on my G35 yesterday at Tony Graham and saw 2 G37S (Auto). After seeing it in person, I still have mix feelings. The interior is definitely a significant improvement, but not the exterior IMO. In fact, there was 2 guys looking around for a sport coupe and they didn't seem to know much about the Infiniti product line. I listen to their conversation (without commenting) and they were both saying how much better the G35 looked compared to the G37, they obviously didn't know that the 37 was the redesigned model...

What colours did they have? They told me they would have some but I didn't have the time to pass by. Are they sold yet/for sale or are they only showroom cars. Did they allow for test drive? Sorry about all the questions

700km That is way excessive, I'd even consider it used at that milage. They keep very little numbers in stock, wonder if 417 does the same. I don't think they are moving at all. I swear I could recall them telling me the white one was sold and a week later the Athen blue was as well, and that was about a month and a half ago. Unless they got new ones in which would be a mighty coincidence.

I'm pretty much looking for a red fully equipped with the exception of 4ws, 417 already told me he could locate one in a month if I decide to go their way. Old man winter finally showed up this week so not much in a rush yet.

EDIT. I could swear it was an old man (50+) who bought the white, I even saw him on my last visit test driving the car a last time. Is it possible he returned it which could explain the high milage?

Just saw my first G37 on the street in Ottawa. I thought I was looking at a Cayman or something like that, very nice. I didn't like it that much when I went to look at it at the dealership but the car in motion looks a lot better. I'm pretty sure it was bought at 417 cause I remember the manager calling me with that exact same colour combo when they received it way back when it was first released. Sure took a long time before I finally saw one on the street, now I want one

Techuinang,

Was it the platinum ice 6spd. with black leather @ 417 or the liquid metal grey with stone leather in 5 spd. - did you speak to Dax?
I saw a black one in Ottawa on the road and believe it or not it was beside the Altima Coupe - both looked nice.

I'm pretty sure it was the metal grey one.

With all honesty, I can't remember anymore who I spoke with. I did hear good thing from that Dax guy though. Funny you mention the Altima coupe, just saw one while driving to work this monring, Silver in colour and driven by an old lady. Was not impress by the rear at all which surprised me cause that was my favourite part in pictures.

My current car is black, next one will have to be a more flashy colour. Black always look good though that's for sure. Where did you see it? I saw the grey one in Little Italia on Preston.

I actually met with that guy at 417 dealership and was not impressed with him at all - he didn't expain the car - didn't say much on the test drive either - was dissapointed with him and he wasn't moving much with regards to price. I decided to go to Tony Graham and speak with someone there and wow what a difference. The guy knew his stuff and he even told me that since I work for company "X" I qualify for VPP. So essentially I test drove the G37 and G37S. If and when I do purchase in the near future I would buy from TonyGraham for sure.

My only beef about the G37 is that it's much heavier than the Altima Coupe (400 lbs) so the extra 60 hp is really needed. But styling on the G37 is way nicer. Is it worth the extra $10k - don't know. I saw the G37/Altima driving side by side in front of the RCMP building near Lynx stadium on Coventry Road.

Also, the major factor for waiting to purchase the G37S was price.

Had I purchased it in October I would have had zero discount.

Had I purchased it from Nov.1-Dec 31 I would have had a $3,000 + 14% = $3,420 discount.

Had I purchased it from Jan. 1 - TBD I would have had a $4,500 + 13% = $5,085 discount.

So I wonder if I wait until spring if they will again up the ante of cash incentives if their sales are sh!tty.

Interesting, I drive by that area all the time while heading to work, have never seen it. Hopefully I'll see it around sometime.

I agree with you on Tony Graham. Have purchased from their dealership in the past and not only the sale department is good, so is the service department. Was really looking forward to buy from them but the manager at 417 knows my brother and he promised me a deep discount when I'm ready to make the plunge. Now he could be lying so I'll walk in with as much knowledge as I can.

Yep, waiting has been on our side so far, I just have the feeling we'll hit the 2008 model clearance sale eventually . But you qualify for VPP, I wish I did.

VPP is good but it's not earth-shattering good. I am basically getting a G37"S" for $43,340 + 13% tax = $48,974. (Plus the additional cost of having to purchase winter tire and rim package for about $2,000 or so.)

Here is the VPP breakdown for G37"S":

Dealer Invoice = $45,500

+ Freight, PDI, gas tax = $1,695

- VPP discount = $1,200

- Cash purchase incentive = $4,500

Plus 2.5% delivery charge = $1,845

= $43,340 + 13% tax = $48,974

Still alot of coin for this ride...

Kmare,

This does not include Nav and winters.

The 2.5% delivery is charged for VPP associate copmanies. Whereas Nissan/Infiniti employees on the other hand save the freight.

Explained below:

@ Tony Graham - spoke to Chris. Really nice guy explains everything in detail. Whereas @ 417 - Dax sat there and said nothing he didn't even tell me about VPP after I told him which company I worked for - I found out about VPP through TG.

417 and TG are different experiences. Night and Day. ( I had gone to 417 first unfortunately and got horrible service).

TG = My wife got a rose at TG - brought us coffee - continued to check in with my wife while I was on the test drive. On the drive he took me all sorts of different road conditions - took the time to explain everything about the car in detail. He actually told me about VPP and that I qualify.

417 = Had to wait forever for a salesman - no one gave a **** - receptionist was too busy talking to 3 other salesmen or service crew. Test drive was horrible (not the car) he didn't say a word. He was rude when we talked price afterwards - his first comment was "What do you plan on accomplishing today?" How rude!!! After that everything went downhill. He didn't take me seriously - I guess because I look young he figures I am wasting his time - I had planned on paying cash.

If I buy I buy from TG only!
