Pricing out MYG37s 2009 6MT sedan

Hello MyG37 Community,

I'm posting today to get some thoughts regarding the value of my 2009 6mt G37S sedan. I've done some research via KBB, Truecar, and various car sales sites and can't get a realistic estimate. KBB estimates it at ~13K, True car (a laughable) ~$6K, and various cars currently being sold with higher mileage going for ~$15K (Example, 2009 6mt with 131K).

The general specs are as followed:
  • 2009 G37s 6MT with full tech package - Adaptive cruise control (ACC), Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), NAVI + HDD, etc.
  • Liquid Platinum Metallic with Graphite interior
  • Just rolled over 80,000 Miles
  • Maintenance is complete and up to date. (I usually just do the maintenance by date, vs. mileage since the car doesn't drive much. Is that overkill?)
  • Gallery Gaskets replaced under warranty at 60K (had extended warranty)
  • New Transmission. clutch, flywheel replaced at 50K (under extended warranty) due to a whiny throwout bearing. Infinit doesn't replace the bearing but the whole transmission, yeah wild, I know!
  • New passenger seat due to faulty airbag sensor (under extended Warranty)
  • RJM clutch pedal
  • K&N Drop-in filters
  • No other mods
The reason for my inquiry is I'm debating if I should keep or sell the car, as I don't drive it as much (especially with the pandemic and WFH) and it just sits in the garage. Additionally, my wife has been thinking about us getting a larger family car (I'm eyeing a GLE63S hehe). Is it crazy to think I could sell my car for +$15K!?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

It sounds like you have a well sorted out car that has all of the common issues fixed. 15k may sound like a lot but it is a good value for someone that knows a thing or two about these cars.

Thank you for your response RobC7! Good to know that $15K isn't out of this world crazy for my car. I mean the one I linked to my OP is $15K and I was like whoa! Granted it is a dealership. hmm. I may just fancy the idea of putting together a for-sale post in the near future.
