Help Pricing My 2013 6spd G
Hello, Forum
So I'm trying to get myself back into a Range Rover. Have my eyes set on a beautiful 2009 w/ low miles and clean/dry history/maint. records. Anywho, I need help valuating my G as a private sale car. She's a 2013 Sedan 6 spd. with an exhaust(sounds good not ****ty) and lowering springs(dont rub and rides like stock just lowered). Check engine light is on all the time because of O2 sensors, and limp mode issue persists about 10% of the time now since its warmed up weather wise. Not a single leak on the block or trans, diff fluid was changed about 3k ago. New tires. Stock rims. Brakes got life for at LEAST 2 more years and wont squeak until then. Interior is as clean as a whistle with the exception of the silver finish flaking off of the driver door from where the previous owner hit it with the seat belt too many times(about 2 quarters in size length wise and 1 quarter height wise), otherwise, no spills, smoke, kids, pets, ****, vomit, etc. Paint is great, not perfect. Drives straight, no pull in steering, no clicks rattles or creeks. Windshield is flawless.
It is the S model. Black on black. 90k miles with RELIGIOUS oil changes ever 5k and records for it all in the carfax. I'm HOPING, to ask 15k and get about 13k considering she's the last year of the 6 spd. and in such fine shape(especially interior wise). Is this crazy? What is realistic? Should I ask 8k and expect to get 5k?
Thanks for all input. If ANYONE is interested in this vehicle let me know. Also, mods, if this needs to me moved go ahead and move it. Wasn't sure where to post but I'll be hip to the move if its gotta happen.
Best,
Banshee
edit: Also, when I say the interior is clean...I mean CLEAN. It has never seen "armourall" or any greasy *** crap that the store sells. It is a dry clean smooth soft interior as though new and always kept in shade or with windshield sun blocker. Still smells new when I hit the A/C if that matters.

Well, the best measure is finding comparables in the market. Getting harder these days to find 6MT sedans or sale, but keep your eye out and see what they’re listing for (or sold for, in the case for auctions).
Guessing a 2013 with 90,000 miles bluebook’s in the $10k range. But lowering springs, exhaust, o2 sensor issue all reduce value.
So 13-15k is probably a pipe dream, but you never know if you find the right buyer who is 1) determined to get a 6MT and 2) can look past (or even prefers) the aftermarket parts and problems.

I say list it high and hold to it if you aren’t in a rush or in immediate need of the funds. We are in a high used car market right now and a clean 6MT G37s is a hard find.
Get that o2 sensor/limp mode issue sorted and someone is going to overpay for it for sure. I think you can get 13k - 15k for it, but to be fair I’m working off my local market which is really high, Bay Area, Ca.
For reference I bought my 2012 6MT G37s sedan with 87k, completely stock, super clean inside and out. And best of all had a ZSpeed CSC HD replacement already for 13k in March of 2020.

Start a FS thread, ask for your best and be willing to negotiate. You're all over the place, Banshee.... $5k to $13k. I'm sure there's a fair middle ground. Research FS threads, research Auto Trader.

Start your price high because 6MT's are hard to find. There are a lot of desperate people out there to find one, they sell very quickly in most cases. Get the 02 sensors replaced / fixed and stop that limp mode crap man! You'll make your money back by being able to sell the car for more money!

So yeah, I agree with @RobC7, fix what needs fixing and increase your chances of getting a good price. I haven't priced out O2 sensors for these or looked at how big of a job it is to change them, but I can't imagine them being ridiculously expensive.
Yeah I think the o2 sensors should be easy to fix, if I keep the single exhaust I might add spacers or an extension to stop the o2 from fowling. I might just put the entire exhaust back to stock, and just the rear springs back to stock since they are way more slammed than the front which really still looks stock. Currently trying to get my hands on an OEM exhaust.
Does anyone have pictures of their 2013 rear oem springs? I've got 2 springs left from the entire job and I can't tell whether they're the fronts or the rears.

If you want to get the most for it, put the stock springs back on and fix the CEL.
Yes, that is a pain, but it will increase the number of people interested.
For some reason, folks think lowered = abused and any aftermarket part has "unknown quality" thanks to cheap ebay parts.
(or maybe it's just me)
