G37x buying help

Hi, I'm looking to buy a G37x at the end of October when I store away my mustang for winter (NE Ohio). I've looked at so many cars and loved what the G37X offers. Currently looking at 2012-2013 years. Unfortunately there isn't many in my area that have lower miles. 113k was the lowest for 10k$. Is 10 k a good price? Should I be looking for something lower in miles? I will only be driving it in the winter and when I go to the store. Also, if someone could tell me about how the maintenance is for 2012-13 with over 100k. Any advise is welcomed. Thanks.

If you're stuck with higher miles, aim for a 2013 model to avoid the timing cover gasket issue. Besides that, as long as the car has been taken care of, it will run for at least 150 more +.
Look for the fully-loaded version that has navigation, This way you'll have Bluetooth music and phone. As far as prices go, I'm only familiar with what the reality is around me. I know it changes from place to place.

Sedan, w/o Sport Package? Then consider the 2014-2015 Q40 AWD.

Exact same car. Different badge.

They used the slightly beefed-up 7AT from the 2014 q50 for the q40. Its the same transmission I have in my G that was put in 2 years ago. It allows for a bit more max torque before it fails (475 vs 425). I remember also reading something about them tweaking the header design a tiny little bit that made the city fuel economy about 1 mpg better in the q40 vs the g. Dyno tests also showed the q40 puts down a few more ponies down to the wheels compared to the g37x. Nothing major, like 5 horsepower, but still (could just be new car vs worn down components)

That's all really good info, hexotic. I didn't know any of that.

All the more reason to look to the Q40 AWD over the G37x.

Just remember the Q40 doesn't have memory seats or rear sonar. But the updated tranny and that 5 extra hp make up for it. Lol

Haha, yep, it's as base model as it gets when it comes to comfort features.

I'll tell you that the changes are pretty frivolous

Yeah, I think they just had leftover parts and just made a bunch for them not to go to waste. Came out parallel to the q50, absolutely pointless car.

Keep looking bro you find something! I waited a long time to get mine. I literally just go a g37x for 5k although I did have to pay an additional 7k on repairs cause of mechanical repairs but still.

And this is my story on how it was purchased. I got tired of used cars that kept breaking down, I wanted something a lot more reliable, but I have no way of getting it so far. 85% of the total cost paid in cash, then I applied for a payday loan just to pay the missing amount. I refuse to play the bank's game. I have used this site for online loans paydayinusa.com CA, the results are quite profitable and I will continue to use this site for my online investment, no hassle with banks and it takes up to 5 mins to finish it. This is perfect for guys who need extra cash right away. So, it's better to have some savings to avoid getting a huge loan as much as you can.
