Hey everyone, I just wanted to know your thoughts on this trade. I have an 2003 RSX 130k miles base manual; i've owned it for about a year with no problems. I found a 5AT G37 coupe journey 2008 with 177k miles on it, and the owner is willing to do an even trade. I bought the RSX with the intention of eventually getting a G for a good price when I could find one, but i'm contemplating on doing this and then trading up for a G37S manual down the line. The interior of the G is i'd say 8/10 with typical wear and creases in the leather seats, the exterior is a 9/10 except for a tiny paint chip on the front bumper. I haven't gotten a chance to test drive it, but I will in a few days. What are you thoughts and what should I look out for?

Thats alot of miles. Id be leary. 2 big issues with early model Gs are small paper gaskets behind the front timing cover that are about 30 bucks but 2-3 grand in labor.

 

Trade a stick shift RSX for an automatic G37?

I say wait to save up for a 2012+ G37S 6MT.
