Another bill 9 months after lease end

I turned in my G37s last august, and a month or so later I get the final invoice that includes the termination fee, and the property taxes etc. Skip forward to yesterday, and I get another "final" invoice from them for more taxes. Is this a normal practice? I have never turned in a lease before so I am not sure what to think about this.

I would call them and speak to them. It could possibly be just a clerical error. Best of luck and keep us informed with the outcome.

My state bills property taxes a year behind, so in April they sent out the bills for whatever was assessed in 2015. I guess I'll have to cough it up. Kind of pisses me off though.

Yet another reason I love living in a state that doesn't charge "property taxes" on cars. Ridiculous that you have to pay yearly taxes on automobiles. You should pay sales tax when you buy it and after that no more taxes on it.

This is why you never truly own your home in the USA. In other countries, if you pay off an asset you never have to pay another dime to keep it
