I'm about to purchase the below car. It has the limited spoiler, wheels, lip, and grill.

Is there any way I can confirm 100% that this is a real limited. The Audi dealership selling it thinks they have a regular sport. I'm assuming they don't know what they really have.

Shouldn't it say in the dmv title? I know the VIN will show if it's an x or xS etc. Just not sure with Limiteds

 

yup certainly looks like the 2012 limited and its rwd with the akebonos nice find ... deff is a great price if car is clean title and good condition

Maybe, the carfax is showing it as a sport. I think the odds of someone buy a black on black 2012 g with all the options, then finding limited wheels, spoilers and a grill are slim. But would like to know for sure. I haven't been able to find a registry of limited VINs online.

 

I just googled the VIN and found it listed as a Limited. I'm good to go! I'm getting it for $900 less than the dealer value and $4800 less than retail.

Sorry to stray off topic but what is added with the limited editions? Just cosmetic things or are there upgrades to the motor as well?

 

yes limited is just cosmetics..in this case the car is rwd so he also has the akebono bbk ...in 2012 the limited was pretty much just the different color wheels but in 2011 the limited edition came with the manaco red seats and the malbec black exterior ...not 100% sure but think that was the differences
