CPO checklist question
CPO checklist question
I'm working on a purchase of a certified G37. The program states that all mechanical items are thoroughly checked, in addition to cosmetic details such as exterior paint and overall interior condition. This would leave me to believe that the vehicle should appear in "like new" condition when taking delivery. Do they replace scratched interior parts for instance, or buff out damage on a wheel? Just curious if I'm interpreting this correctly so that I know what I can request when I go to pick it up should I see some normal wear.
Thank you for any info anyone can provide

Interesting reading I ran across yesterday regarding CPO.

Here's a piece of advice I could have used before buying my car.
Try to drive it when the sun would be glaring into the windshield (head on, and also from a 45 degree horizontal angle). I have lots of pitting which isn't noticeable at all under 90%+ of my driving. It's really only noticeable when the sun is at certain angles to the car.
In my case, I doubt it would have made a difference...as my dealership is a Sonic store, and they use the TruePrice model...which means they don't negotiate. If you notice pitting, that can help you lower the price perhaps. They can claim that the pitting was factored into the price, but it still gives you some ammo.
