AWD vs RWD

I am currently looking to get this 2013 Infiniti G37s coupe. A friend mentioned that I should probably invest in AWD instead of just RWD. I live in New Orleans, so snow isn't a factor for me on s day to day and am upgrading from a Nissan Altima. I am more concerned with slippery roads and fishtailing on wet roads. I was reading that getting the proper tires may help out with this problem. I just need help!! Thanks =)

You don't see snow, you don't need AWD. Even if you do see snow, you still don't need AWD. A proper set of tires goes a long ways. I had a RWD 6MT coupe for several years in Wisconsin. We see at least 100" of snow each season. I was never worried.

How do you have 2 posts, create 2 threads, both with the same topic? Not just any topic, but a topic that has been beat into the dirt since the X was introduced many years ago.
