Ever buy from internet dealer?
Ever buy from internet dealer?
Of the 52 cars and motorcycles I have owned in my life, I purchased only two from remote dealers or online dealers. One worked out great (2010 BMW 550i sport) and was a disaster (in the 90's - a POS Subaru that smelled like a dog died inside).
Anybody have good luck with the huge Texas dealer in Houston that sells on eBay? I can name them but don't want to violate any TOS if they are in place here of course.
Thanks and I look forward to being a regular participant here!

Yes, that was my take based on my obsessive research methodology. Thanks for the input!
The certainly sell below local dealers. Having had a slew of German cars, I always/always backed them up with warranties. Well, any post 2000 car at any rate. With the Nissan product and knowing Japanese reliability, I am not quite as concerned...but we'll see.

I am torn between:
'11 G37x Premium, appearance (wood) pkg, and wheel pkg for $24k 37k miles and CPO
'10 G37xS Premium and Nav (and sport seats, etc of course) for $22k 45k miles not CPO
Hmmm...

Wouldn't worry much about CPO or not. If it's a coupe the XS has a few more features than an XS sedan, the coupe in XS form has the big brakes and suspension upgrades. If you can find the actual ending dates for the warranties, especially the 2010 that would be a big plus.
Texas Direct Auto is legit. I've had 3 family members purchase cars there with no issues so far.
Only dealerships of the manufacturer can certify cars as CPO, i.e. only a MB dealership can certify a Merc as CPO , only Infiniti can certify a G as CPO, etc. Other dealerships may offer something similar but it's not honored by the manufacturer. Probably a third party warrant of some sort.

I am not overly worried about warranty for these vehicles...but they are nice to have for sure. It's not like any of my Audi or BMW cars where you're playing Russian roulette with regard to budget killing repairs.
