How Important was Nav to your purchase?

I have found a couple of nice G37's but they do not have nav. I'm wondering if I would regret it. Thoughts?

Ditto. I very much appreciate the OEM packaging with the nav system. Voice commands, etc. Siri can't do that

It seems to complete the car for sure, but I have to admit that I rarely use it. I had to buy it because I wanted the Sport package and the only path to Sport was through Nav.

It also seems that the resale on Nav equipped cars is alot better than those without Nav.

I wish there was a Sport only package like what was offered in 2004, but that's not the case anymore.

Well, here we go again, another recurring debate, this time “nav versus non-nav.” I’ll play along. IMO there are two kinds of Infiniti owners: those who have factory nav and those who eventually are sorry they don’t.

This does seem to be one of the horses we beat to death on a regular basis. Coupe vs. Sedan, Manual vs. Auto, High Octane vs. Low Octane....brunettes or blonds.

No nav in a car like a G does make it seem like you're cheaping out. Much like the MB-tex crap in a Benz.

LOL yes.

Yes! In my opinion if you cant afford the trim you want dont settle because you probably cant afford the car which is why I got the G and not the Cadillac ATS. I do not think things like HIDs and heated seats should be options in a car that cost $30k or even $40 grand.

FWIW I dont like the voice control one bit. The car needs to have all windows and sunroof shut for it to distinctly pick up what youre putting down. Its by no means fords sync but as nissan was an early adopter of navigation (01? i35/maximas) I expect more though I didnt play with it at all when I drove the Q50S

My last post never appeared, so I’ll try one more time:

Not to beat a dead horse, but those side lights, both amber in front and red in the rear, are a safety item, designed to provide drivers with improved directional views of other cars at night on darker roads and intersections. Yes, you can go a lifetime without it, or never get a ticket, but in an unfortunate night accident your insurance claim may be denied.
