Confused with different trims

So I went to a CPO Infiniti dealership today and found a 2011 G37 sedan with 25k miles. Its an automatic, and has the G37S badge on the back, but im not sure if what exact trim it is.

I found that for the 2011 model, the trims are: (Used 2011 Infiniti G Sedan | Used Infiniti Luxury - Yahoo! Autos)

and im not really sure which exactly it is. I know it has Bose and the big Infiniti brakes. Can someone tell me which one is it. It has these rims.

It's a Journey with Sports Package added on.

When I first started looking around I was confused as well. Infiniti calls a G37 Sport a vehicle with a 6 speed manual transmission. That comes fully loaded with Premmium, Navigation, and SPort packages (big breaks, paddle shifsters and rims). Basically, 6MT comes with the most standard packages.

For automatics, the vehicle trim is technically a Journey, but with those added packages. However, in 2011, if you wanted the Sport package, you had to get Premium and Navi as well. Hope that helps.

thanks for the replies.
I guess its a Journey with sport package. I was close to getting it today if it wasn't for the 9% interest rate. Gotta have to find another bank :/

Are there any performance differences between the models in acceleration and quarter mile times?

I heard the 7A is slightly faster then the 6MT. But if you had a journey with/without sport, the times are the exact same. Also, all sport models come with larger brakes, front facia, sport seats and paddle shifters.

No difference in acceleration as both have the same motor and differential gearing.

The Sport model does however add a host of performance features: close ratio steering rack, stiffer springs/struts/shocks, huge multi-piston rotors and larger brakes, VLSD (posi-traction rear), performance tires and wheels, better seats with additional bolster.

Not to mention nicer looking pedals and front fascia.

The package is a steal for the 2k MSRP price.

I do believe that as of 2011, you could not order Sport without Navigation and Premium.

I was told by a couple of dealers that only 1 in about 20 G37s sold have the Sport package. Combined with the fact that this is the last year they will be made, the resale on the Sport should remain strong.

However, at the end of the day, the Sport is no faster than the generic Journey+Premium $299 lease cars that fill the highways.

In 2010, you did not have to order Navigation to have the Sports package. I'm almost sure in 2011 they required all 3 packages to have a sport model.

Based on the picture attached to this thread, what is the cutout for in the lower grill?

Technology package? Collision Avoidance sensor of some kind?
