^Thanks! Yes the car was already on the lot, I was told it was there for about 2 weeks.

Basically what happened:
-Agreed on price for a blk/blk 6MT sedan, no options for $36.7k (Willow Grove Infiniti)
-Morning after I sold my old car cash, WG back out of deal and wants another $2k!
-Mad dash online search, see this car on Holman Infiniti's lot
-Call, Dennis Smith from Holman calls me back
-Test drive, then Dennis honors WG's price, despite extra options (and I end up really liking the stone interior)
-I shake hands with Dennis and sign papers!

I cannot say enough good about Dennis at Holman, just a very straightforward guy and a true professional as his craft. This was my first car purchase and he made it 100% stress free (couldn't say that about WG!)

I won't bash Willow Grove for the actions of one employee, but I suggest anyone in the NJ/PA area to at least consider Holman in their car shopping!

Hey,

I'm a bit late to the party here but I'm searching for the exact same car you are (were). Was looking for an 09-11 CPO car, and found the same thing - that the dealers had them listed at near new prices and weren't budging.

I don't buy it (pun not intended). First, I can't think of a salesman from Ferrari all the way down to Kia that won't claim "Oh this car? its selling for sticker because its so popular!" Right. Second, a new G37 (sticker) is what, 42? Whats the lease residual on a 3 year/36k car, something like 58%. Call it 60%, and assume the car sells for sticker (it doesn't). That means the dealer pays AT MOST 25,000 for the lease returns. Add in 1,000 for the CPO warranty and the dealer's cost is 26k. Sorry - there is no way a used one is worth 33-36. No way. I'm not directing this rant at you OP, I realize that its the dealer making the claim and not willing to move on price, not you.

I'd like to do a real deal on a CPO 09-11 but I'm not looking forward to the negotiations based on what I've seen and heard.

^my mileage limit for a cpo was ~12k mi, 2010+, black exterior 6MT sedan. any examples I like this that I found on the market (within 500mi of my area) were asking $34k-$36k with very little wiggle room.

in other words for a few extra grand (or about 6% more), a brand new one would be had. It's really a no-brainer IMO (I plan to keep the car for 5+ yrs so that $2k extra isnt much in the grand scheme of things).

Maybe Infiniti recognizes that the 6mt sedan is a tough sell and 'incentivizes' it accordingly? I'm not asking questions, just glad I got the deal!
(maybe prices will drop more once the Q50 launch too)

I have looked at alot of G37 Sport models (including the 6MTs) across the US for many months now (I will pay to ship the right car). These cars command a healthy premium over the run of the mill G37 Auto (Premium+Nav) lease returns. I believe this is mainly because enthusiasts like us seek them out and will pay more because we appreciate the value of the components included within the package.

Actually, the price delta between sport and non-sport is often more than the sport package cost when the car was purchased new.

It's hard to negotiate as well because sport models sell quickly.

One dealer told be that there is a 12:1 ratio between non-Sport and Sport models, so they are fairly rare, especially here in Socal.

However, with that said, the previous Gen G35S (07-08) seems alot more plentiful on the used market.

^I agree, the dealerships recognize that anyone interested is looking for something very specific and relatively rare, so they barely (if at all) budge on the asking price, even with 20k mi+ on the car

With the Q50 on the horizon, I'd imagine deals for new 6MT sedans will only get better.

Either way, good luck sirs

Same situation now, really want 13 6mt dealer said $36,596 plus transport and tax and license

White/wheat

I told them 38k OTD [in california]

They don't have it in stock will have to get one from 700 miles away.

So still thinking.

I think q50 sucks in styling.
