Just left the dealership...

$450 month, 24 months/12k miles, $4,000 down. Lease for a G37 Coupe with Premium and Navi.....

That can't be a good deal? Someone help me out here with this leasing thing I just don't have any experience with it. I think he said the money factor was .00011, if that sounds right?

When doing a lease, ask for:

MSRP
Selling Price
Residual %
Money Factor

That is more important than looking at the payment. You want to know what you are paying for the car and to make sure the dealer is honest with the residual and money factor.

Also I do not recommend putting money down on leases.

So get that info and I can tell you what kind of deal you got.

Next dealership I contact I will make sure I get all the numbers. I walked away from that deal cause I wasn't comfortable with it so I can't remember all the numbers we had come up with. Gonna try contacting another dealership Monday and see if I can come up with something better.

Edit- I keep seeing people posting these deals of around $380/month no money down/$1K down on G37S I don't get how the numbers are so drastically different. $450/Month with $4K down and that's not even a S. Wish I had a trustworthy dealer around here....If such a thing exist!!

4k down , I don't think so ... Good thing you walked away from that .. You can get a much better deal than that.

Where are you located? I just leased my 37x Sedan premium for $2500 down $245 a month... But with 10K miles ... I was told if I wanted a coupe with navi I would pay closer to $310 a month with $2500 down... (my down payment was 1st month, tax, dmv, bank fee) I think you should find a different dealer...

That was from Modern Infiniti in Greensboro, NC.

If I can find a dealer in North Carolina that will offer me numbers like that on a coupe I will be all over it.

Check out Lake Norman Infiniti ... They will do the deal through email, and I think they will bring the car to Greensboro.

Will e-mail them now.

Edit- I am in contact with Lake Norman Infiniti now, the numbers they started with are already crazy high so my hopes are slim on this. I should get another E-mail back tomorrow with slightly different numbers. If anybody knows a trustworthy dealer/salesperson I could contact feel free to post it or PM me. I am trying to make this deal right now, I would buy the car Monday if everybody wasn't playing games so far with high prices. I am located in Greensboro, NC but I will travel for the right deal it's not a problem.

So this is the quote I was sent...

The MSRP on the G37 Coupe with Premium and Nav Pkgs is $46,545. The residual is 57% and rate .0046. With $1598 down which is your fees, you would be at 489 / mo on a 39 month lease 12K miles per year. Final sales price is determined when customer is here to purchase.

Another update from a different dealer

MSRP: $51,005.00 Your Sale Price: $47,864.43 Plus Tax, Tags Fees
Residual: 56% on a 15K miles
Money Factor: 000055
Due on Delivery $589.00
38 Remaining payments of $589.00

This quote is for a G37S, going to e-mail him back because I prefer a 24 month lease and 10K miles is fine, 12K max I don't drive my vehicles alot. That money factor seems high from other post I have read. Either way those numbers are off just posting up info for anybody who is interested or who wants to chime in on helping me with numbers for my first lease purchase.
