leasing 2013 6mt

Been shopping around for a 2013 6mt coupe and got the following. Was wondering if I should keep shopping still

2013 6mt, 12,000 miles/yr, 24 month lease, $2500 drive off, $420/month

msrp - 46,335
sales price - 42,000
residual .72
money factor - .00024

The $2,500 includes
cap reduction of $ 1,499.79
doc fee $ 80
tax $ 131.23
License fee $ 360.00
Gov fees $ 8.75
advance payment of $ 420.23

or w/ $1000 drive off (same as above less the cap reduction)
and i have a monthly of $475.

Need to know more information. The lease rates and residuals are set by Infiniti finacial, so it should be the same for all deaelers I believe. You need good credit (above 740 I was told) to qualify for the best rates. To know whether or not it's a good deal we would need to know the MSRP, the sale price and what the 2500 sign off was comprised of. The residual and money factor would also help, but again I don't think you have a choice there, what you get is what you get unless you want to wait until next month to see if they change in your favor. There may still be a few 2012 6MT out there if you look around, you might be able to get a great deal.

Coupe or sedan? What's the purchase price (as stated by Nick, that's really what matters)?

I'm not sure if that sales price includes the 1500 cap reduction you are paying up front or not. There should be a acqusition fee of around 700 somewhere in there, either rolled intot the lease or as part of the 1500 cap reduction you are paying. Also, what is your tax rate? When I put those numbers in online calculators I get a lower monthly even with tax rate of 8.5%. Check out Ride with G's website. It's a great tool. Here is a link to his calulator.

When I use the calculator linked above, the monthly comes out fairly close, but that's if I exclude the $1,500 cap reduction. My guess is the $1500 is alrady netted in the sales price

I get a price around 410 after tax, you were quoted at 420 without tax, correct? My guess is that they are including that 1500 cap reduction in the sale price, i.e. the actual sale price is 43500. They are also likely rolling in the acqusition fee into the lease, bringing the actual cap cost to 42700, which comes out closer to that 420 prior to tax. You should confirm witht the dealer all the numbers. Either way it sounds like a pretty good deal. In general though, it's not a good idea to put down a cap reduction down payment because if something happens to the car (totaled or stolen), you lose that down payment. The intrest is pretty low to begin with in your case, especially over just a 2 year lease, best to just increase the cap cost and save the 1500 bucks now.

420 w/ tax and i'm pretty sure that was w/ the dealer using the wrong tax rate of 8.75 when its actually 7.75.

I asked about removing the cap cost and my monthly skyrocketed to 540 w/ tax. I'm not sure why such a huge increase since most dealerships have quoted me about a $60 difference when a $1,500 cap reduction is involved.

It's a pretty good deal, your getting almost buy rate on the money factor and 4300 off msrp on a 2013 stick. The tax is set by your zip code, so they put it in the system and it automatically calcualtes your tax. Where are you located at? And correct no rebates or incnetives on the 2013 coupes for a lease, only if you have an infiniti already

updated first post w/ an additional option to the least

no $1,500 cap reduction, but additional $60/month to the lease payment.
