lease deal

I know this should be posted in buying/leasing section, but not much traffic there and trying to negotiate fairly quickly.

2012 G37 IPL 6MT
illuminated kick plate and cargo

MSRP per infiniti build (which is for 2013, not sure that it is much different)
$51700

sale price $45823

36 months, 12000mi/yr

MF 0.00058
residual 55%

Tax rate where I live is a 8.7%

They gave me quote of 2880 due at signing which includes title, tax, first month, 800 security deposit, 700 bank fee.
monthly is $725???

When i enter all this info into online caluators im getting a payment closer to $570. what gives? I'm happy with the all the numbers except the monthly payment. I know my MSRP value may be off by a few hundred, but not 200 per month off.

Mods feel free to move if needed. Thanks

Ok, never mind, dealer called back and said computer errors. Payment is 550 with 2300 due at signing. Much better and a hell of a deal I think.

I PM'd you before I saw your second post. See if they'll do it for $550/month with less cash at due signing and/or give you 15,000 miles/year. Always nice to have extra miles on a lease.

Since you are leasing and the money factor is so low (about 1.39% interest), with a good, but not great residual it sounds like a good deal. However, one rule I always abide by is never put any money down on a lease, yes it does lower your payment. I have never heard of a bank fee of any sort. If they are using Infiniti Financial Services there is generally no fee. The security deposit does make sense and then you have to pay your first month payment.

Tell them you want the same deal with no cash down, I'll bet they make it or come very close.

Good Luck, it is a great car.

Thanks. Non of the money upfront is cap reduction. All "fees "(acquisition, security deposit, some tire disposal fee), first month, CA registration, title, and tax. Trying to negotiate out of the fees to just pay first month, title and tax.

Dealer dropped security deposit, but then said monthly was 592.xx because he had given me a quote for 10,000mi/yr by accident. Lost my confidence so told him to take a hike. Not going to drive 6 hours in rental one way to be screwed over again when I get there. Not even sure they would have the car there at this point.

First a "computer error," now giving you an incorrect quote "by accident"...these clowns sound like a bunch of scheisters. Did you get a quote from another Infiniti dealer? Based on what you've reported here, I think you should ASAP.

I did. I contacted the dealer who has the car they were probably going to get. They offered 39 months 12,000 miles/yr 592 per
Month and 1865 at signing. No cap reduction just more fees but no deposit. They also said that was at 7.75% tax which I think is less than it should be (8.7)
