lol @ this epic thread. People and their cars, you owe 40k in school loans and on top of that you owe 18k on your G still????? And on top of that you make less then 24k a year? WTF is wrong with you kid. I make about 60K a year and I guess I should go get a Veyron SS with you're kind of logic. Pay off all those debts and loan before wanting a new car.
Alright, settle down people. A young inexperienced buyer is prone to make mistakes without proper knowledge and advice about finances. There are a LOT of people on this forum who have a G37 and can't afford it either so, no need to gang up on this guy. At least he's willing to ask advice and learn before it's too late. Hopefully.

x2! Even as I'm laughing at some of the responses, I totally know where he's coming from, I've been there plenty of times myself, and I still find myself wandering down that road sometimes. The logic of "Well, this car is on a few thousand dollars more than what I have now is worth, so why can't I just step sideways and up a little?"
Queese, stay with your G35 for a while longer, take that $500 you were going to put down and put it in the 35. In a year or so you'll be in a better position, and an 2008 G37 might be laughable.
