Good deal?

I am purchasing an 08' G37S and wondering if this is a decent deal or not. The car has premium package, sport package, navigation and all that stuff. One owner with all service records, never in a wreck or anything. Garage kept, with only 16,800 miles for $28k. The guy rarely drove it and the maintenance records are very meticulous....it basically looks like a brand new car. What are your thoughts?

Forgot to mention it is a journey 5at. Coupe

28K is high even if it has only 17k miles. I'll say 25-26 is more reasonable. If it's from a private party sale, I wouldn't pay more than 25K.

Cars on autotrader that had the same features in the $25k-$26k all had 35,000+ miles. I was thinking it is worth a few grand for to have one with half the miles. Thoughts? Is my reasoning flawed? Where are there 08' G37s with 17,000 miles for $25k?

It might not be easy but you can try...you should spend more time reading more posts here...

From betterdayz "I got mine on cars.com , 2008 coupe S all options 31,000 miles and in great shape all service records at the dealer and newtires $24,300."

From XCoop "I'm in Colorado and just bought a 2010 G37x with premium and nav in Jersey with 44k miles for $26,250, asking $26,900. I'm guessing the AWD of the x on my vehicle, and the Sports package of this one cancel each other out price-wise. "

I bought my '08 G37s 6mt with all the bells and whistles from an Infinit dealer for $24,300 in November '11. Had 23k miles.

Also got a brand new set of Potenzas and the nav update thrown in. You just gotta look around and be patient.

Good luck on the hunt!

That was a good deal. I already bought the car so it is a bit late now. I justified it in my head that I wouldn't mine paying an extra $3k to get one with half the mileage of one that was $25k. 34000 miles versus 17000 miles, $3000 dollar difference was what I was looking at.
