6 Month Pull-Ahead Program

Whassup fellow 37ians

Got a call from my dealer this afternoon stating that Infiniti has deployed the 6-month pull-ahead campaign. Considering I was looking at a C63 before, the maintenance and price of one just doesn't make sense.

Going in Saturday afternoon to see what kinda damage I can do for an IPL or M37s

Anyone else get the word?

They do that all the time. Don't Mercs have free maintenance? I'd look at an M3 if a C63 was an option, or an S4/S5 they both have free maintenance.

Yup, I got a call yesterday too. I have eight lease payments remaining and the program will pay the last six. My salesman is trying to get me into a leftover Liquid Platinum 2011 G37x Coupe with premium and navigation. He stated the program is only being offered until 1/31/12. However, why would he call me with only a few days left to the pull-ahead promo? Sounds kinda fishy, you would think the offer would be good for at least 30 days. At any rate, I wish I had six payments left instead of eight, as the price he quoted me was not that attractive.

On a leftover 2011, price wasn't attractive? He's definitely not working hard enough lol.

Mercs do not have free maintenance but a pre-paid option...

Also audi doesn't have free maintenance either. I had 2 S5's last year and paid an extra 13 a month for Audicare.

it expires in august not, 1/31/12 lol I just don't get some tactics from sales people. Don't go for the 2011 anyways, they are roughly that same lease options as a 12 because of the residuals. Purchase though it could prob be a little better, but the tranny in the 12 is superior.

I won't buy AT again.

What are the #s on the lease. Don't shop by payment.

$13 a month isn't bad. Odd that my VWs come with service, yet their premium brand doesn't?

can you get them to go for no money down?
I don't understand how that works, but I do see people on edmunds town hall talking about getting it sometimes.

Nice low payment for a 50k car though, the IPL price looks great without the 2k down, I'd go get one myself for that ticket.

any reasons why you went with a G over another S5?
sorry to get off topic, you can PM me if you'd like. I'm considering an S5 to replace my G. Thanks.

Personally, I prefer the IPL. In terms of the deal, since it's a 2011 leftover, they've got some more room. I would tell your salesperson you will do the deal at $490 a month with zero out of pocket. See what they say. The worst they can come back with is they will meet you in the middle at $1,000 down - and then you'll save $1,000. Insist you need to be at or under $500 a month with zero out of pocket.

Definitely have the room to negotiate. But reason(s) why you guys are saying to go with the IPL and not the vert?

I had a 09 vert...loved it. Rocking a 6MT sedan right now.

D, you sure you want to be in a G for another 3+ years? It's a great car, but I like a change of scenery every now and again.

I know you were looking at the C63. Did you ever take one out on a test drive? After I tested the coupe I was sold. It was hard not buying the one they had on the lot despite not having all the options I wanted.

I suggest a test drive, if you haven't already.

Otherwise, go with the IPL. A little more "umph". The vert may be too "sluggish" due to the weight (as you're already used to the G and obviously interested in more get up and go, opposed to less).

Good luck.
