Lease turn-in

Has anyone on here returned their leased G37 at their dealership and walked out with a new G? or some other infiniti?

ive heard that dealerships will sometimes call you 2 years into your 39 month lease and see if you want to turn in your car for some new lease special...

anyone done this?

was anyone over their miles?...did they "look the other way" ?

there are some perks to picking up another infiniti after returning yours........they waive the $350 disposition fee for one, they MIGHT overlook on the miles (depending on how much over you went)

you definitely get a $1k loyalty credit towards the new car.

its not unheard of for dealerships to call you in before the end of your lease. its usually anywhere between 1-6 months before you finish. however i feel its mostly a gimmick. im sure they somehow roll part of your left over payments into the new car payment.

the loyalty is actually based on which vehicle you would be looking at and is only valid on a lease. Each case is different and has to be looked at case by case. If you are trading in your lease which it sounds like what your looking to do then mileage does not come into effect as you are trading in and nto returning. If you just return the lease at termination Infiniti will NOT overlook extra miles.

1k loyalt y is good for;
2011/12 G37 sedan
2011/12 G37 coupe
2011/12 Fx35
2012 M sedan

500 loyalty for 2011/12 Ex

And no loyalty cash for G25/G convertible or QX56

I work at Infiniti and what tends to happen is that the dealer will call infiniti for what is called and early termination on your car and depending on the packaging and the car you have, Infiniti will let you off for a smaller fee than the number of payments you have. However that is not always the case. So the dealer might roll over everything

I can get loyalty cash even on the IPL if I want. Was offered it already but am waiting out my lease until a few months before, being April, so I can hopefully get my C63 AMG. Inquired about it and Ray Catena dealership said they'll take it in around the 3 month mark, pass off my payments and any issue so as long as my next car continues to be from them...

Big difference between an IPL and a C63 AMG.....................Not a fan of MB but really if you are leasing I would think the C63 AMG would be a no brainer. Since I buy my cars I look at things differently.

I’ve returned two leased vehicles to my Infiniti dealer, the first 2000 Maxima to pick up my 2004 G35 coupe, and the second to turn in the G35 for my present G37 coupe which was purchased, not leased. Both went down with no hassle; I just tossed them the keys, completed the paperwork on the new cars and drove off. I was surprised that I never had to go through an inspection for either vehicle.

this is all good info.

i just got my 11 G37s sedan so this wont be coming up for a while....but i walked out of there with a killer deal...
no money down and 380 a month.

im hoping that when it comes time for a new infiniti....there wont be that >2k out the door cost and all that...im sure i will still have to pay tax..doc and first month payment...but like the lease acquisition fee ($800 i think) and all that wont be there.

i guess i will see what happens in 36 months or so

Lets wait to see if we survive 12/21/2012 first lol...

Nah of course the C63 and IPL is no brainer but the AMG would be used, they just have to locate one. Can't afford a $850-900/month lease payment, especially with a pending nuptial this year
