Increasing miles on 11' G37s Lease
Increasing miles on 11' G37s Lease
Hey everyone
a few months ago i got a 11 G37s on lease...39 months ( i think) at 10k miles a year with no money down for $380 a month.
well at first 10k a year was easy because i barley used my car...well i just got a new job and i will be commuting more
...so i need a little more miles on my lease...
im looking to go to either 12k or 15k per year....depends on price increase for each.
anyone on here ever done this...could you share the price per month increase or any other information that would be helpful!
thanks

You cannot increase during your lease, so you will have to pay .25 per mile that you go over aty the end of the lease, now this is assuming you turn your lease in and do not trade it in or buy it out. If you go way over I would look at trading it in for a new one at the end of your lease, depends on your buyout though.
You can increase your lease miles and payment, call.
You also can trade the car in early and the miles won't matter as much. If you look at it like this...you got the car for cheaper than you should have because you lease with less miles (who really leases at 10k) if you end up pay $3500 at the end it would be like leasing it for higher miles.
But you can adjust miles in leases.

That's why you know what you're doing and lease what you drive. If you drive over about 15K a year it might not make sense to lease. Unless you've only been driving for a week most of us know how much mileage you put on your car.
So in this case..10K a year wasn't a good idea.

hmmm okay.
i guess im going to call and get a for sure answer.
im aware of the .25 mile at the end....
the 10k mile lease was fine for me at first...i live downtown and was walking to work..but now i will have to drive for my commute..hence the reason for wanting to get more miles...
however my commute is like 12 miles each way...so i could make 10k work..but id rather not have to never drive my car..lol
