Exclamation 2008 G37 with 23K miles for 28K good or bad deal

Hi,

Im planning to buy a 2008 infiniti G37 S coupe (white colour) which has 23K miles, the carfax is clean. I bargained with the dealer to get to 28K total after including the tag and tax. DO you think it is a good deal.. the car doesn't have navigation, back up camera but has all other features on a sports package. It was a personal lease return,

is it a deal or no deal.

-Thanks for your response,
Siva

That doesn't seem like a good deal at all. $24k max would be my plan.

$28k should get you one with Nav and backup cam.

For Reference a local Infiniti dealer had an 08 CPO 6mt no nav with 23k listed for 28900 and wiggled down to 25000, I passed over nav.

Well, perhaps 28 isn't horrible if that includes tax. But I also wouldn't call it a steal.

I just picked up my 08 OB G37S 6MT coupe 24,000 miles with graphite interior, Nav, rear cam, 5% tint, Eibach Springs, and LED interior lights for 26K from an individual. Just my .02 cents...

Can'tGme you got a nice deal man .. all the vehicles here are overpriced even for this one I had to bargain like crazy.. and I got tired of it..
to get the certification it cost 2K $ but for the dealer to certify it he has to pay infiniti just 800 $ so it worked out for both..
As long as my car does not give issues I'm fine with what I paid.. I got a low interest rate of 2.9% APR from the deal so I think I got a decent deal...

I just picked up an '08 G37s coupe with 23k miles with NAV, backup camera, new tires... for $25,105 from Lisle Infiniti in Chicago. I thought it was too good to pass up... most of the comps with that low mileage were in the higher 20's. Good luck with your purchase. You'll love the car!!

its a good deal...but like others have said...its not a steal.

see if you can get another 2k out of them..why not?
always push the dealer to the limit...walk out...etc etc..try your poker face..lol

you will be surprised on a deal that a dealer will cut at year end...

There are many factors you didn't mention to qualify this as a good deal or not ... part of the Country? Ivory Pearl on Stone or Graphite? 6MT or automatic? Has there been any paintwork to the car at all (a clean CarFax / AutoCheck is NOT an indication of this)? Premium Package?

... I am presently looking to buy a G37S as well and have not had any luck around Metro Atlanta. Not one G37S-Auto-Nav Coupe was worth even test driving even those at the Infiniti dealerships. I didn't even get past the paintwork .... I am currently looking out of state now.

You didn't mention whether it was on Graphite or Stone interior. The Graphite interior is much more difficult to find than the Stone with the IP and IP on Graphite with navigation and automatic is a "Unicorn".

Nevertheless, I am presuming there is no trade-in in this deal, so you are getting it for around $25,500+/-. Without navigation, that is an ok deal and it being IP is a plus. Hopefully, you are good with cars and can tell re-spray work. If you cannot, have someone look at who can tell or use a mill gauge. Every 08 "S" Coupe around Metro Atlanta with automatic and navigation on Graphite in IP, OB, PG or AG has had re-spray with a clean CarFax except one and that one had a tear in one seat, a sratch in another and holes in the door panels. It was even at an Infiniti dealership.
