New poster here, been lurking/searching the past few days. Really appreciate the great info on this site.
I have VPP pricing but the VPP subforum seems dead so posting this in the main. Sorry.
Got VPP quotes from two dealers. One was several hundred more (assume due to dealer installed options, fees).
Best so far was $35,9xx for a 2011 G37 X sedan with premium package. Add about $1700 for the navi package. I will probably go for the fully loaded model.
Assuming they can give me $12-14k for my trade (Jeep GC Limited, fully loaded) I'll probably pull the trigger. I've already arranged financing through my bank for 2.9% - if they can give me the current 1.9% promotion that will be even better.
What does everyone think? Good deal?

If you compare it to mine, it's 82% of the MSRP. So a real good price for you would be around 333xx, if you can get that low. I'm sure if you ask other dealers in your area to beat your first price, they would be all over it. But yeah, it definitely depends on what they give you for your trade in.
I feel like you can get lower than that with the VPP deal. With mine, I was just quoted at 36,830 for a g37x coupe with premium, splash guards, cargo mat/net/first aid kit, and illuminated kick-plates. The MSRP was 44,790 with invoice at 41,171, so try and get a similar deal.
VPP pricing is the same across the board. You cannot compare models as they are different. Coupes have more discount then sedans do on the VPP program. So no you cannot go lower on VPP. Like the second poster said, the trade is what will make it or break it

The problem with dealerships is that they don't always give a straightforward VPP price like they should. One dealership that ran the VPP number through their system said I could get any model at invoice. So I asked another dealer and another and it kept varying in price, so I'm not quite sold on the one price thing for the VPP discount.
if they are not doing proper vpp then they should be reported to Infiniti. Only thing I can think of is they do not know the current programs so when they are quoting you it's not accurate. They are probably unaware that right now everyone who qualifies for VPP gets A plan. So here is an example of one

So here's a little update. They gave me what I need on my trade and gave me a VPP price of $38,673 for the awd sedan, black/stone, premium, nav, kickplates, wood trim, carpet mats, first aid, cargo net. The car was at another dealer and they were having it delivered today. I gave them a $1k deposit, but on my Visa Signature card that can be easily disputed.
The salesman just called and said there was a mistake, and the car they ordered does NOT have the wood trim. But they can get another one in black/stone which does have wood trim, black grille and the performance wheel & tire package which he said on the phone comes with 19" all-seasons. Looking at Infiniti's website, that package includes 18" wheels (as does the sport package).
I really want to believe it was an honest mistake and they aren't pulling a bait & switch, but I'm starting to get very annoyed. The price he originally gave me over the phone was $35,7xx - then it started climbing as soon as I showed up. I do have a printout from the nissan VPP page for the model I was supposed to get today. MSRP is $42,855. Invoice is 39,518. VPP discount is 1,000. So my price, including doc fee but before tax, was going to be 38,673. That's for a 2011 G37 X, black/stone, wood, premium, nav and the few extras like wheel locks, mats, etc.
kaoticdemize - I don't know how you have access to this info, but if I gave you a hypothetical build of what I want (or even a sample VIN from a dealer's site), would you be able to tell me what the correct price should be? I'd be happy to PM you my VPP claim #. If you can't do it, no worries.
the wheels on the wheel and tire package are 18" not 19" seems like you have an uneducated sales person lol. The concern I have is that the vehicle you are describing (Black obsidian stone interior premium nav and interior wood package) does not exist so I would be worried about hearing the same story again. Also there is no sedan in north america priced at 42,855. Closest one to it is one in Beaverton, Oregon which is Black obsidian with Wheat interior premium/nav/wood at an MSRP of 42,875 invoice 39,408. Your vpp on this car would be 36,158 (assuming purchase and not a lease) plus any dealer added accessories such as wheel locks, tint and any shipping fees.
I wouldn't need to see your vpp page as the promotions for this month is that anyone who qualifies for any vpp program automatically upgraded to the A-Plan. So the calculations your getting are D plan which would be your normal VPP program.
I have access as I am a Manager at an Infiniti Store

Something does not seem right at all with the way the salesmen are handling this. What do you think I should do, dispute the deposit charge on my credit card and tell the salesman the deal is off? I guess I'll still consider giving him my business if he gives me the CORRECT prices.
So you're telling me VPP price on a 2011 X sedan with premium/navi/wood is around $36k? Does that include destination?
Let me know where you're located and maybe I'll come buy from you guys
Destination is included in the MSRP of our cars, only thing extra is tax license and doc. I think what is happening is a lack of communication between the desk manager/sales person and you like a domino effect. Only thing I can think of as far as the vehicle showing up is that it is hidden which would be why I cannot pull the car up in my locator, essentially they list it as sold with Infiniti whether it is or not and that way you cannot price shop another dealer because they will tell you its not available as I have done. If you can provide me with a vin number I can tell you exactly if the car exists at all what options are on it so no more surprises and where it really is located. As far as pricing again even one of my managers was unaware of the program but when they go to do the actual paperwork it would pop up. I would suggest talking directly to the general sales manager to get everything straighten up instead of playing purple monkey telephone with your sales person. the fact that he told you 19" rims worries me, could be a green pea lol.
Im located in the bay area in California lol.
