Coupe VS Sedan

Hi, I've just returned my leased 2008 G37S coupe, after shopping around looking at the 335i, a4, i've decided to go ahead on another G. The new touch screen and technology features had me sold. I'm a big fan of the 335i, but it's just a tad over my budget right now. The question now for me is do i get another coupe, or go with the more practical sedan. They are both handsome, but coupes are just generally "cooler" then sedans. The only thing i have against the coupe is that I'm 6'3, and it's basically impossible for me to drive if someone is behind me. I basically drive with the seat all the way down and back. The sedan is somewhat better, but still leaves not much leg room in the back. The only thing i have against the sedan is that it feels so much less sporty in the cockpit, it's quit a noticeably difference when you've drove the coupe for the last 3 years. Anyone else had this dilemma when buying the G?

Look around at some of the modded sedans and it'll change your mind about it not being as sporty ...that is, if you plan to mod it.

I think this is the first thread I have ever seen (maybe its just myg37) Where coupe drivers actually +1 sedans, even a little???

Props to you guys. On Gdriver, if there is a coupe vs sedan thread, coupe drivers come in and start comparing them to Toyota Camrys and **** and say they shouldnt even be called G35s hahaha

they are both great looking cars....seriously cant go wrong with either one

its a matter of personal taste/needs. I had a sedan and I have a coupe now. I barely used the backseat and preferred the looks of the coupe.....and then that exhaust note had me sold.

I was on a few of those Gdriver threads myself. I strongly believe the sedan is faster than the coupes. Although the g37s (coupe) does corner better stock to stock, the sedan with sways will blow them out of the water. I wouldn't consider my sedan to be modded but i managed to shut up a few guys on Gdriver in a race.

Side Note: If we are talking about g35 coupes vs g37 sedans stock to stock, that's not even a race its a slaughter....

Do they have a different exhaust note? I loved the way my 08 coupe sound, people always thought i modded the exhaust.

This looks like another coupe versus sedan thread; one of our regulars. I guess we’re also due for another regular versus premium fuel, and an another old standby—auto versus manual trannies.
