It seems like when I tried to configure one online the options seemed pretty limited. Therefore, it seems like you can get the g37 you want pretty easily. Whereas, with BMW you have to special order 2-3 months ahead of time because there are so many options for BMW.

Also - the configuration I want is black interior, black exterior, wood trim.

Yes and no.....I guess it depends on what you want and how flexible you are. If you order your vehicle it will be a couple for months. However there are plenty of available vehicles out there so find a dealer have them search for what you want. I found the car I wanted 300 miles away, I went and got it.

For me i just told the private sales man what i wanted and he did the shopping for me. My car was exactly what i asked for. If you can go that route do it.

never settle for anything else than what you want.
a salesman near my home tried to sell me something i didnt want and i walked out without saying a word.
did a search myself and found what i wanted in PA. drove up there and got my baby without giving my business to the incompetent dealership around here.

Look for something you want, on the flipside what's in a dealer's inventory is always the best deal. If the color and interior are right (major options you want are there) the minutia is whatever, all cars have something. If the splash guards are on there or the first aid kit is there or something to that extent I would still make the deal, obviously color (ext/int) first, then options (prem, nav, sport, tech), and then the odds and ends.. There are cars out there to be had, even with BMW, they just have more combinations so it is harder to find a car at times... What's in our prem package is like 2-3 packages with bmw.
