Hi,

I have a corporate employee pricing program on new cars, I looked up what type of discounts they are giving on the G37

It came up with these prices:

2011 G37 Sedan Journey = $30,500
2011 G37 Coupe Base = $32,200
2011 G37 Coupe Journey = $33,500

Although tempted by the coupe I know the sedan suits my lifestyle better.

These sound like good discounts or am i missing something? Will i get better by just working with dealers? By the way i am thinking these prices exclude taxes and fees

Looks to be about right. I just picked up a 2011 G37 sport with everything but the tech package and it was about $38k before TTL with VPP pricing. That included adding the spoiler and splash guards. Assuming that your above prices are for the base model, they would line up. There are different levels of VPP pricing so it will vary somewhat. I think you are unlikely to get better pricing by haggling. For me it ended up being about 7k off sticker. The paperwork you get shows, at least for me, that they calculate your VPP price as $1500 below dealer invoice.

 

Thanks, I looked again at the prices and the invoice price, seems I am getting $2500 off the invoice price on all models, and an extra $500 on the sedan's. Then I get 13.4% off options/packages. Also says prices are only good till end of the month!!

 

That's what I paid going through USAA (zag). I added PREM, NAV, Wood, and paid $34,500. (The lit kick plates, cargo/rugs, and some other stuff was thrown in for free). That was two weeks ago.
Same car today through USAA is $37,383.
