At this point the deal simply comes down to cap cost. Msrp of the car I want is 42600. Invoice is 39100. I want the cap cost to be at 37000 with out putting money down. So I'm looking for a dealer to sell me a car 1-2k below invoice
I don't know about getting 2k under, but have you tried Zag.com?
Well that's a given. This is the internet after all
Surely a few are legit, but most probably aren't telling the whole story.
Most new car transactions involve a trade-in, yet practically none of these posted deals here (or any other internet forum about car purchases) ever mention the trade in as part of the deal. Games played with financing numbers are another way to play the "hide the money" shell game, and those "amazing deal" posts often don't give details on that either. Dealer fees are another bucket for "adjusting" the deal.

I agree, some people don't tell the whole truth or details about their deals. Which actually hurts the community because vague information can set people's expectations too high. I like to be as honest as I can be when I post something. Bottom line is we're here to help others and not to brag about how much we paid and make it look even better by not providing all the info.

I have my deal all in writing which is good....you need to get your credit checked first to see if the deal that they're giving you will stick. I learned the hard way, when the day of to pick up the G I was originally was suppose to get change from $465 a month to $519 a month. But then they were giving me "tier coupons" to put me up a higher tier and then they started calling me to lower the payments even more....****ing bull****...

**this is for a 12K mile per year with a 67% residual and a MF of .00147.**
