Post Lease Deal?

I am looking to lease a 2010 G37 Sedan Journey w/Sport. What's a good lease option?

The dealer came back with this for a Black Obsidian/Graphite G37 Sedan Premium/Sport/Navigation:

$396/month
12k/year
$5,000 down

I want to stick within $300-$325 and $4,000. Is that reasonable? What are everyone's experiences? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

the price the dealer gave you is too high............although being in the $350 area with about 4k down is possible

Why would you put money down on a lease? I wouldn't.
Do yourself a favor and read through this thread: 2010 Infiniti G37 lease - From $262 + TTL for 3yr/30K with zero down - Page 12 - SlickDeals.net Forums

I did and got a good deal on a lease this weekend.
Nothing down. $43k MSRP g37x sport, premium, nav

Putting money down on the lease is the same thing as paying higher a month.

You're paying for 40-45% of the car. So if you have $5,000 to put down it will kick the payments down lower. If you didn't you'd pay that $5,000 ever month.

But negotiate the lease without money down then you can get the best deal. If you walk in and say a number they will "make" it be that #.

That seems pretty high to me. I just leased a 2010 G37s with Nav for no money down and 12k a year at 439/month for 39 months. Only money out of pocket was the first payment.

Every $1000 just takes off $20 bucks a month.

It's a little more since you don't pay the tax on it. But you still pay that $5,000 over time. As long as they put it in the right box so it's actually 100% going toward the cap cost reduction.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I am now a proud new owner of a G37 Sedan Premium/Navigation/Sport in Liquid Platinum! Pretty much in love with the car right now.

Ultimately, I got the deal down to:
$325/month
12,000 miles/year
36 months
$3,000 down

Not sure if it's the best deal, but I'm happy with the vehicle I drove off the lot!

I find that impossible to believe

please tell us your cap cost, depreciation, rent fees and incentives as written on your lease

and does the $3000 include inceptions, first payment, tax, tag, etc.

i have a base (cap cost of $33,5) that i pay $331/mo + tax with $1500 down and the MSRP is about 8 grand less than yours.

$325/mo for a fully loaded G37S doesn't sound legit at all..
