2010 G Coupe Sport
2010 G Coupe Sport
Hello all. I'd like to get your opinion on a couple of deals I've been working on at two different dealers recently. My trade consists of a 2002 F150 with 115k miles and a 2005 G35x Sedan with 52k miles that was rear ended yesterday and has some damage that needs to be repaired...go figure, hit by an uninsured motorist right before I was going to trade it in.
Both trades would probably fit under the "Fair" area of Kelly Blue Book ($12675 & $2500 for trade in values) Geico estimates $1400 to $2k of damage to my G sedan.
The first is a 2010 G37 Coupe Sport Automatic with Aero Kit, Nav, Premium, midnight grille, illuminated kick plates, rear deck spoiler, & impact sensor.
MSRP: 49,970
Savings: 4,700
Sell Price: 45,270
Trade Value: 13,000
Tax: 2016
Fees: 220
Dealer Doc: 150
The other vehicle I've looked at, at another dealership is a 2010 G37 Coupe 6Manual Sport with Navigation.
MSRP: 43,115
Savings: 4,000
Sell Price: 39,115
Trade Value: 10,500 (they are playing up the accident/damage and trying to lowball me on my trades I think?)
Fees: 281
Do either of these look like a good deal? Any suggestions on how to proceed to work any of the above areas down to get a better deal? I appreciate any input you guys may have. Awesome forums here, I'm glad I found this place.
