Buying a 2008 G37s..

Walked into an Infiniti dealership a few days ago and I stumbled across a black 2008 G37S coupe fully loaded with navigation. 28k miles. Spoke to a dealer about it and he said its not for sale, it just came off lease and it's heading off to an auction in a few days. I asked if there is anything he could do to sell me the car and he went to the backroom to speak with his manager. He came back with a price and it was higher than I expected. He asked for $32,900. I said the maximum I could do was $30,000 out the door. He said theres no way he could do that, the bare minimum he could do was $32,400 (+taxes and fees). I felt like that was pretty expensive, I thanked him for his time and left. Should I hold out for a better deal? What do you think?

I have an 09 Sport with 10,000 that I would sell for 33,000...granted it does not have navigation but that price is way too high especially with the miles.

If you asked him if there was anything he could do to sell you the car, of course he'd come back with a high price.

IMO, keep looking, you'll find better deal.
