Is this a good deal?

The invoice for it is 41,222
The dealership is saying I can pay 41,422 before taxes and everything. The car would also be ordered.

yes, that equals about $3658 off msrp...which i think is in line, considering the 2010's just came out.

Since the car will be ordered, current dealer cash probably does not apply to you. However, make sure you stipulate that the dealer will pass to you all manufacturer-to-dealer incentive(s) in effect at the time of delivery.

Ok. So I am still debating on a g37 or an A5. How much more do you think an A5 is worth over a g37. 2K, 5K, more?
Right now I can get 1800 off msrp. Ideally I am looking at these 2 cars
Audi A5 2.0T - Prestige - S Line - Driver Assist - Wheel Lock Kit - All Weather Trunk Mats & Trunk Liner - MSRP $49,955, Invoice - $46,516
Audi A5 3.2 - Prestige - S Line - Driver Assist - Wheel Lock Kit - All Weather Trunk Mats & Trunk LIner - MSRP $53,255, Invoice - $49,585

I might get less options to lower the cost but if you could choose between my g37 for 41,500 and the A5s with 1800 off msrp, would it be worth it?

nothing, i think an a5 is worth less... that's why i own a g37. You might be better off asking about audi pricing on the audi forum.... or check edmunds for the TM value on them.

1800 off msrp, would it be worth it
personally, i think 1800 off msrp for an audi a5 OR a g37 is laugh out loud funny & certainly not what the current market is....but that's just me.

... the a5 has:
-smaller motor, less hp
-way slower
-10k mi less warranty
-no loaner car
-i'm fairly sure less dealerships (but not 100% positive on that)
-worse braking (i think but can't quote the distances off hand)

and is priced thousands higher? I guess i just can't really see the comparison, except that they are both non-US engineered sport coupes. A5 looks nice but not nicer than G37 IMO.

I would order the car and then negotiate the price after the car arrives. You should be able to the get the cost under invoice. Shop two or three dealers if you can. Most are suffering because of the economy and its a buyer's market. Fall in love with the deal, not the car. Just my $0.02 worth.
