09 Coupe and Sedan Pricing?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a coupe or sedan and could use some advice.

I was quoted $41,000 OTD for a 09 coupe - sport, premium, nav. I contacted four dealers and was told that they could not go lower than that. Am I wrong in thinking that is a high price to pay for an 09? Is it because that is a highly desired combination (there are apparently only two left in California)? Because of this price, I decided to try for a sedan. I noticed that dealers have a lot of 09 sedans on their lots. What would be a good asking price for one with nav, premium, and sport? Is $33,000 (not including tax & title) too little? I read on this forum that someone got his for $34,500 OTD with the same options.

Does anyone know if the $3,500 and $4,500 dealer incentives still exist?

Thanks!

-Dave

Price is high! I bought my 09 G37 Sedan with those packages. $34500 OTD.

I am not sure if all the incentives are still in place.....

Thanks for the link! So it looks like you paid $33960 (34500-199-300-41) for the car itself. That's the lowest I have seen! I'll offer $34,000 to the dealer.

Edit: I just got off the phone and was quoted $33,458. It just doesn't have the sport package.

BTW, the dealer incentives still exist for this month.

Edit 2: I was just quoted $36,254 for a 2010 (nav/premium/sport).

That price seems to be in line with what dealers are quoting in TX. I was quoted 38163 for an 09 coupe with the same options.

Hi, first post. Been reading a lot here.

I currently have 3 dealers competing on a 2009 G37x Sedan w/ Premium Package. Black w/ black interior.

Best price I have right now out-the-door is $34,200. I have secured my own financing at 3.83%. Since I am in Michigan the actual price is $32,264 + $1936 tax.

Seems to be a lot of these in the area. After reading a lot here this seems like a decent price but I still need the warm & fuzzies before I take the car home. I am a total n00b when it comes to the luxury/sport sedans. I am coming out of a Saab 93 which I liked a lot.

I put a ton of miles ont he car (20,000+) per year. I should probably ask in another sub-forum, but I really need this vehicle to last me 80,000 miles relatively trouble free. Is my expectation realistic?

Thanks,

Rich

That price is high. I just picked up an 09 G37x sedan with nav, premium, sport, and ill kickplates for way less. Msrp was 42,969. After discount, price came out to 35,241. Out the door price, including tax, tags, and dealer processing fee was 37,723.

I think the rebates are gone for 09 Gs. But I think they're still offering the low APR financing through IFS.

RichSz, I think Infiniti makes quality cars. Imho, they rank up there with the best of them as far as quality goes.

dealers?

Can you tell me what dealers you were working with? I'm looking for a 2009 or 2010 sport coupe (AT) with premium, nav, and anything else I can get at the lowest price possible. I would greatly appreciate the help!

The incentives are better for the '09's. $3,500 for Sedans (or $1,000 and special finance rate), $4,500 for coupes ((or $1,500 and special finance rate).
'10 Sedan is $2k or $500 + rate, '10 coupe is either $1,500 or rate.

Do the math and see whether the F2D incentive or rate makes more sense. Add $500 to the invoice price, then subtract the incentives and you're good (unless the rates work better). Hopefully, I'll be picking up a '10 coupe tomorrow (took the rate).

Good luck!

You were quoted $36,254 on a 2010 coupe with nav/prem/sport? Thats like 8k off MSRP for a 2010. Are you sure thats right? If so do you mind telling me what dealer that is. I'll fly anywhere in the country to get one that good. Hell even an 09 I would be interested in at that price.

Got it!

2010 Journey Coupe, BlackObsidian on Graphite, Prem, Nav, Sport, Illuminated Kick Plats, Trunk Net & Mat, + 1st Aid Kit. Window $45,490, Invoice $41,642, got it for $42,142 and took the 2.9% for 66 mos.

Regarding above post: He could be talking about a '10 Sedan. Invoice is $37,116 (Journey, Prem, Nav, Sport). Subtract the $2,000 in incentives and you're at $35,116. A good deal (I believe $500 for the dealer is fair) would be $35,616.

I thought the incentive for 2010 G sedan is only $1,500?

Reading over it again, it looks like there is $500 available in conjunction with the special financing, or $1,500 w/o the better rates.

If that's the case, $36,116 or less is doable.
