Esurance - too good to be true?

Can anyone who's actually had to deal with claims through esurance recommend them? They are beating my current GEICO policy by about $47/month but I wonder if this is too good to be true. There seem to be a lot of complaints on ripoffreport - http://www.ripoffreport.com/Search/esurance.aspx

I just wonder if they're considered great only because of their obviously lower prices by those who have not yet actually had to work with them on a claim. Because if this is the case, then I'll keep shopping...

I'd just make sure the policy coverages are apples to apples, esurance claims service is going to be along the same lines as Geico. In-personal, but whatever, I don't think you're trying to make friends with a claims adjuster. Usually brokers would be able to find you a less expensive rate than any online insurance policy you can get. Just find a local brokerage that doesn't charge broker fees. They'll be all those rates. My rate is about $400 bucks per 6 months cheaper than any policy i've quoted myself with online.

I used to have them about 5 years ago when I lived in Cali, and had no problems with them at all. My Altima was totaled and the whole claims process was pretty easy actually. Just make sure you read all the fine print (as you should with any contract that you sign) and you should be ok.
