Is that including tax? If it is, then that is a great deal IMO. I pay $409 plus tax for a premium with 10k miles and 2k down (I didn't qualify for the owner loyalty incentive). 4k down is a lot for a lease though (maybe you can try to change a portion of that to a security deposit).

No, the tax makes it about $495 (but this is in high tax California). Although my current Insurance with Geico is about $550 for 6 months, I called them up and they said to Insure the Infiniti G37 lease would be about $950/ 6 months; this with a good driving record. Is that about normal since the G is a high risk/expensive luxury car, or would other carriers be able to offer me a better insurance.

The cost of insurance depends on your age, marital status, and sex. With State Farm I think their risk brackets are ages 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, and etc. You also get hefty discounts for multi-car and multi-line. Multi-car and multi-line saved me about $250.

My quote with State Farm for a new 2008 G35 sedan with 10k mile lease for age 29 single male was $635 / 6 months with all the discounts.

Apparently I got some lower quotes with other Insurance companies. Apparently Geico sux for new cars but is pretty cheap with older ones. I think the best was around ~$1200 / year
