Close to buying. is this a good deal?

I live in southern california. I am looking to purchase a g37 sedan ASAP. The best quote I received for a 2009 g37 sedan+premium package was for $35950 out the door. Is this a good deal? Please give me some feedback guys!! Thanks. Also torn between black on black or blue slate. Which one do you guys like more?

compare the price to the invoice price on edmunds.com. There is a calculator for that. You want the price to be as close to the invoice price as possible.. if not lower than it. Also I would pick blue slate cuz it's mysterious and sexy. and this is coming from someone (me) with a BO.

I think you can definitely do better. just bought g37 sedan with premium and splash guards for 33,889. And remember right now infiniti has the 2,000 factory to dealership incentives so subtract that from the invoice. And make sure you tell the dealership that you are aware of the $2,000
incentive. Also if you check carsdirect.com they say you should only be paying around $33,300.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, but I am also very close in purchasing a new 2009 g37x sedan with premium, navi package, splash guards, trunk mat, rim lock, all season floor mats, for $37,800. Iam being offered edmunds invoice. I want to finance 36 months for the 0.9 APR. I feel this is still a bit high or is this a good deal???

How do I get negotiate below invoice? I live in NEW YORK, NY

Shop around, use one dealer's price as a bargaining point for the other. Your price is decent but you might be able to do better. I live in Long Island, and got ~ $2500 under invoice. Doing the special financing, like you are, cause you to lose the $2000 cashback (which I got instead).

Hi Frank,
Yes the dealer/friend/manager/fraternity brother told me about the $2000 but that option is no good for me, because i do not plan on paying the car off right away. I am okay with approx. $400 in interest over the course of 3 yrs to pay the car off.

when you took the $2k incentive is that the reason why you got $2500 below invoice?

thank you for your responses, I feel I am getting closer and closer.
I have another friend looking to lease a g37x sedan , does this help me get a better deal on the purchase of my g37x sedan?

update: $37500 navi, prem $500 below invoice. let me push for more...

thanks for everyones help.

I just got the G37 sedan: prem/nav/splash/cargo net with relative ease online. 34200 with 0.00 APR x 36months. So about 300 below invoice (including destination) +TTL and the buydown from the 0.9 APR which saved about $500.

Another thought is to go through a good low cost 3rd party loan like Pentagon Federal at 3.9% and take the $2000.00 up front.

Tell them you're ready to buy immediately to try to get the best price. If you dont like it, dont buy it.

I inquired about a pruchase of a 09 sedan with basically premium only.
From the same dealer I got my lease from - from what she quoted on the monthly payment (retarded) for 72 months (!) with zero down - it's MSRP + TTL........what a deal !!!

we are looking to buy G37 Sedan Journey + Premium Pkg. I guess the best price I've seen so far over the forums are around 34k+tax+reg+lic
Inifiniti website says the special financing ends in June 30. Is there any chance dealers may extend it?
