How does straightlease.com work?

First, Happy Easter all!!

Excuse me for being a real uneducated buyee/leasee, I have so many things to learn.
Can someone explain to me how Straightlease.com works? On its' face for numb newbies like me it seems like a great way to lease a car. Zero Down, miles per year tailored to ones needs, monthly rents for loaded cars less than stripped base models and leases up to 72 months (thats a scary thought).

It sounds just too good to be true so there has got to be a catch, I am just smart enough to see it.

So, I need some educating!!

Thanks

Straightlease? (386 views) (376 thread views)
Message: So i saw an advertisement on one of those lease take over sites. The company "Straightlease" was offering a 2008 clk350 for $412 , 0 down, 0 deposit. It almost sounds too good to be true right? Well IT IS. Not only was the guy over the phone a COMPLETE [Oops!]. He had no sales etiquite, no manners, and worst of all, just acted like he didnt care if he sold a car or not. I figure it was one bad rep. The next guy i called was just as bad.

SO "0 down, 0 deposit" may be true, but the charge a "2700 Shipping and handling fee" !!!! LMFAO. When i tried to ask him about the advertisement he kept saying he will not negotiate. WTF i was just trying to get the facts straight. This company is BS and dont have proper staff. If the guy over the phone was nicer and had more manner, i probably would have leased the car anyway. Straightlease.com is complete bs and that is why they will never amount to anything.

Rip off scam artist

The guy who runs it is a scammer.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/...Off0338678.htm

Gives auto leasing companies a bad name. This website is a scam using third party banks and ridiculously long lease terms.

There are legit companies out there who actually look out for the consumer (check sig) but this is not one of them!
