Think I Found A Deal!

Spankin' New 2008 LP 6MT
  • Premium
  • Nav
  • Tech
  • 4WAS
  • Splash Guard
  • Trunk Mat/Net
It's pretty much fully loaded save for a few knicknacks. $38k w/ standard financing (most likely 4.9% APR) + fees. They're even throwing in a free remote start installed. What do you guys think? MSRP is @ $44,795.

That's not a deal IMO. I was offered a 2009 G37S Sedan 7AT with Prem + Nav + Splash guard + trunk mat/net for $35,500 yesterday (the $2,000 incentive is included and already deducted from the price). Furthermore, I can get a 3.99% 60 month financing from my credit union.

I honestly would try to do better on that. My MSRP was 42900 and I bought at 39.5 @2.9% 63mo in Dec 2007. Not to say its not a decent deal, but I think I'd shoot to talk them down more. Chances are that car has been on the lot for a LONG time and if you just tell them look, bad economy, I don't need this car and walk out. They are going to BEG you to take it from them and will bargain on pricing... Just my thoughts

I would have to still look around to see where I could get my lowest car loan from. Most likely a local credit union.

Go to www.penfed.org. You can join the credit union by donating $20 to the National Military Family Association (option 7 on the "how to join" page). After that, you will be able to apply for a 3.99% new car loan for up to 60 months.

Sweet, thanks I'm in the Reserves so I can do option 1!

Why not go for the 0.9% financing? Either way I think you can do better.
