New Incentive Prediction

For 2009, I predict it to drop to 1.9%/2.9% or 2.9%/2.9% for 36/60 months.

BMW is offering 2.9% on every model they have, including M.

If you have a good credit score (>750) it really doesn't matter what Infiniti offers. It didn't for me.

Are you saying you got better rate from outside bank than IFS?

If you know how to play this game you end up paying like me 0% on any car. You just need to be careful every year until the balance is paid in full...
I will say no more.

Hmm I don't think that its gonna matter to me anymore and also I ended up with a score of 791 and checked with Infiniti on both the 09 and 08. On the 08 they offered me 0% and on the 09 the most they gave me was 2.9% and the price made a difference to. Paying 650/ 36 months compared to 730/month was a big difference.

How did you get a rate of 2.9% on a 2009? I thought the rates cannot go lower then the incentives. Was the dealer using someone other than IFS?

Looks like they extended the offer on the 08, most likely they keep the same 3.9%/4.9% on the 2009. Bummer.

I got 2.9% when I bought my car in November 2007...

If you are a recent college grad, they will offer you a special interest rate. That was my offer.

Ok, here's what's on the FX.
1.9%/36 months
2.9%/48 months
3.9%/60 months

I guess they are only doing it on the FX since it's the earliest 2009 model for Infiniti.

I figure you are using a 0% credit card? arent your minimum payments higher then what they would be if you got a 36 month loan at 0%?

Yes they are, but as long as you can afford it 0% is a lot more important. BTW how do you get 0% through Infiniti or any other bank for a 09 coupe model now? You don't.
