I thought it was cheaper to buy-out a lease than to buy a used one from the dealer or private party?

Not all the time, the residual is set in stone while the used one from dealer/private party can move up/down based on current market condition.

Wow Vinny, I cant belive your car goes back so soon. Why not just lease another one, but for 3 years this time.

EDIT: Vinny the car came out Nov 07, how could a 24month lease be up now?
