Bad Negotations or what?

I been lookin at the fourms and people are saying they are getting their g37 fully loaded for around 39000 and every dealership i deal with won't even give me close to that. They all want 40g and up. I saw one of the member saying sawgrass was giving them a good deal under 40 and they not even much giving me that much. I am in from New Orleans and the two dealership near me does not have the car I want, so I am trying Houston and Florida but the best I got so far is 40653 + ttl for a g37s with navi and prem NO TECH or 4was? good deal? I really don't want to go to Houston and drive back with the car and put over 200 miles on the car. I am usually not that bad at negotating but don't seem like any of the dealership want to budge. I need to get the car by the end of the month. I am giving my TSX to my sister because her car is broken now. Can't be driving her around all the time between work, my gf, and my parents business I already don't have time to myself. Please excuse my grammar, tired of typing correctly. Just finish a long paper for my english class.

Remember that everyone's local market is different.

Worse comes to worst, buy out of state

Are you talking to them about 09's or 08's? 09's they will hold price right now but the 08's they should be willing to deal on.

I feel your pain. I live in Los Angeles and non of the dealers will budge from 41k fully loaded. Looking to buy used right since no one wants to budge. Good Luck

I was talking to Sawgrass and Palm Beach Infiniti recently....Palm Beach ended up beating Sawgrasses best offer by about $1000. Sawgrass said they couldnt touch Palm Beach's final offer.

EDIT - Talk to Colin Byrum if you go through Palm Beach. He's the man.

My Infiniti dealer was the only one within like 200 miles of me, so, I got a good deal, but not the best.

I am talking about the 08s. I know fully loaded 41k seems good but I am only gettin 40k for PREM and NAVI thats it.. NO TECH or 4was
I was looking out of state. Houston is the best offer so far. I looked east and west of New Orleans. Florida isn't giving me a good offer.
I thought about buying used, but the financing is horrible. I caculated that if i got the car for 40k with same amount down for a new and the used was 32k i would end up paying more monthly for the used one

Did you try Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, FL? They're very easy to work with.

I got a great deal up in Jacksonville @ Atlantic Infiniti. Much better than anything in SFL, Tampa, Orlando or even Atlanta. It pays to spend some time calling around I saved a good $3500 and this was back in December '07.

doobie - what you should do is take your lowest quote for the car you want to the local dealership and tell them they need to beat it. then take that quote and send it out for a lower quote. then just go back and forth until you get tired or are happy with the price. remember competition is your best advantage. best of luck!

This is why I negoiate online. I tell them what I want to pay, the options I want and tell them when they can meet those requirements then I will get the car. It took 3 days for my dealer to accept this. It was so low stress.
