Website says $46,745 how much would I really pay?
Hi,
I customized my G at the infiniti website, and the total comes to 46,745.00. This is with pretty much all the packages and illuminated kickplates, except for the 4was.
So when I actually goto a dealership to purchase, how much should I try to negotiate off of this price? What is a realistic number from the 46,745.00 price tag? Would I actually be paying a lot more from tax/deliver fee/ paperwork and all that or paying less by trying to get close to invoice? (this is for the 2009 G that just came out ...)
I'm looking for a number to shoot for close to 46,745.00 that I should try to negotiate to!
Thanks

I have not bout a G yet, but from being a member of this site and using the 'Search' feature, I think you should aim for a bit over invoice, but definitely less than what you website shows you. You can configure the same vehicle you want on www.edmunds.com and that will show you the invoice price compared to MSRP.
So on a 2009 G37, I am guessing between invoice and MSRP, as I said I have not bought one yet, so I could be wrong. Also there are dealers on here, if you let us know where you are located, I am sure you can get in contact with them and work something out.

I'd say aim for no more than 500 over invoice....also if you have a trade in negotiate separately. Get a price you are happy with and then settle on a trade in value. That way they don't try to just shift numbers around and make it 'look' like a good deal. good luck. Maybe one of us will have some. >:-/
The best way to get a good deal is go in to the dealer, tell them what you want and then hear their price their giving you.. then act like your super surprise and say your going to BMW there because their 3 series is 2 grand cheaper... BS but worked for a bunch of people because dealerships like Infiniti are dying for sales ever since the market plunged over the summer.
