what's a good deal for an 08 ?

Hello everyone ,
After test driving a g37 6mt on sunday I'm hooked . The dealership is offering me a brand new 08 g37s 6mt navi msrp $43631 for 39000 +++ and of course the 0.9 % . Is this a good deal ? they also said that if I wait for the 09s ,they wont be able to discount anything . They have to sell it for msrp . Please give me advice on this deal before I go and make a mistake . thanks in advance .

Forget the MSRP, and just check what the invoice price was, and make an offer for under that. And of course they're gonna say that about the 09's since the base price went up.

That's up to you to decide. I would start out at maybe $1000 under invoice. You could even start out lower under invoice.

Start at 1K under invoice. And that talk about not discounting anything is a load of crap. They'll be forced to move them to make room for the '09's.

Not gonna happen, you can only call the car 1 year old if was manufactured 2007. The model is a year old but the car might only be 3-4 months old.

The model year is a year old, the actual car age varies based on the manufacture date.

I'm not talking about the model, I'm talking about the sticker on the door jam. that says the production date of 07 and the car is an 08

My deal

Just bought Journey, Sport, premium, mats, lighted doors sills for $38,300. List was $42,760/invoice was $38,900. Dealer fee brought back up to $39,000 so I basically paid $100 over invoice after the dealer fee was added in. Two dealers in S. FL threw me off their lots at this price for same exact car so I figure I got a good deal.
