0.00% APR ip to 72 months?! (South Motors)

I just received a letter from South Motors (Miami, FL) offering me numerous different deals because I currently have a G35 financed through IFS.

The offers are being promoted as "IFS Owner Loyalty Program":

One of the offers is $4,000 cash incentive on purchase and $2,000 cash incentive toward a lease.

Another offer is 0.00% APR up to 72 months.

I have excellent credit, so I'm sure I qualify. I doubt that these offers can be combined.

Is this too good to be true, or do you think there's a catch? A have a feeling that they're going to stick to close to MSRP. I have heard of '08 G37s going for invoice (or even below) nowadays though. If this is the case, where do I sign? I'm ready!!

With the poor state of car sales in general and particularly luxury car sales going down the toilet, I'd think it's legit. They need to sell whatever they can. The 0% APR for 72 months is very likely with Tier 1 or Tier 0 credit. If you have it, go for it. You should be able to negotiate well below MSRP in addition to the financing. The financing deal is through IFS (I presume) and you can negotiate with the dealership on the price.

Dealers cannot get rid of these cars. It's the sad state of the economy and especially the world of leverage as it pertains to banks and dealerships.

You think this deal is too good to be true ... just wait another month. It'll look like they're GIVING away these cars.

the 0% financing from Infiniti actually went away in September. I guess I'm very fortunate we're actually consistent as last year. I know some places in the country are hurting.

Times are very bad. If your credit is good you can pretty much name your price and terms. Lots of '09s will be sitting and rusting as they come in.
