Black Obsidian 5AT Journey - Loaded - Nav, Prem, Tech, Sport, Spoiler, Illuminated Kick Plates, Splash Guards, Cargo Net, Trunk Mat
They are asking $1500 over invoice (keep in mind this is the Seattle area-trying to work 'em down to $1000).
They are giving me $1400 over blue book ($16400) for my '03 Coupe for trade-in.
I'm gettting $1750 in loyalty incentives.
I'm getting 0.9% rate for 60 months.
I'm not incurring any shipping charges for them getting the car from another state.
$43,299 before tax & license.
$27,662 after trade-in, rebates, etc. plus tax & license.
Thoughts? Thanx!

I talked to some dealerships in CA and AZ who could move a lot more on the price but shipping may be an issue.
What do you think of the offer stated above?
Thanx!

They are bringing your car from another state? thats probably why they cant budge that much on the above invoice deal, because the shipping from another state they have to pay shipping and stuff, and they dont want to go negatives for getting the car sold.
thats just a hunch though, because some people have been getting below invoice deals. It seems like a good deal though, if you really want the car dont let price be that much of a concern! if 500 dollars is what makes or breaks the deal, then your probably shouldnt be in the market for this kind of car.

For the Northwest sounds pretty fair. Limited dealership competition and all..
/Might check their inventory & run what you want by email through Spokane and Beaverton, why not?
//It's all about weighing your how important specific options are to you vs saving $ and how much time i.e.,traveling to CA, (some have flown and saved enough to pay for trip + some) & effort you want to put out etc.
///Whatever, GL & let us know what you end up doing.

Dealership is giving you $1400 over bluebook for your trade-in? Wow. that's great. I've been to two dealerships and the best they could offer me for my trade in was nowhere near kbb price. They were offering me wholesale value. KBB for my trade was $22,000 and the dealerships would not budge on their offer of $18,000, so I i just got up and left.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm headin' out to Tacoma now to try and put something together.
My first coupe was ordered from the factory in Sept. '02. Back then they wouldn't budge on MSRP and
my finance rate was 4.5%.
So any deal I get now is positive by comparison.
I'll miss my old G but I'm guessing the new one will help me to cope! heh.
Wish me luck,
I'll follow up!
