$40,768.56 included wheel Locks + $955.00 over cost = $41,723.56 + $495.00 + Tax & License...

I'm assuming that I get the price lower than that since the $40768 is the invoice price. What do you all think? I will be taking delivery on September 4th.

Just curious, why are you taking delivery in two months?

I am in Iraq right now. I placed the order on the car here but we haven't totally negotiated the price just yet. I get back to California on September 3rd.

Given that the 09s will be out soon, I think you could do better. Around the first of the year, I would have said this was prolly pretty good.

What would you say is a good range to aim for? Would 500 over invoice be good or do you think I might be able to get even lower, like 250 maybe?

I'm not sure what kind of incentives the dealers have right now that Infiniti gives them, but I'd say you should be able to get right at invoice, especially since the 09s should be coming out. If I were you, I'd just wait for an 09 if you can.

I already ordered the setup I wanted from the deal and it should be there before too much longer I am pretty sure. How do the dealer incentives work if I am paying straight cash for the car?

I'm a novice car buyer, only bought one car on my own before and I am not the best at haggling or anything.
