how much should Pay for this G37

Im planning to buy a G37 coupe at the end of the summer, maybe cause i wanna wait for some clearance or something, I want a G37 Journey with Sport Pkg, Premium, maybe Nav but not necessary and the rear spoiler.....I live in San Diego area, so thats why im wondering hows the market for the Infiniti as far as asking or getting the invoice price at the dealership. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated..

I think you should wait for the 09 to come out and buy an 08. I've never been a fan of leasing but that's a whole different topic. You might have to provide a little more info on yourself. If the 09 comes out and I'm looking for an 08, I would try to find deals that are invoice+300 or less.

If you plan to lease, right now is not a bad time. The rates are pretty good and the residual values are strong. I suspect that that next month, the residual values will drop. It is likely that IFS will drop their lease rates to offset the lower residual. Once the 09s come out, it is possible IFS will try to move the remaining 08s by offering more incentives. I'm just guessing based on what IFS is doing with the FX right now (since the 09 FX is coming out). If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I recommend learning more about leasing before you even consider it. Leasing is more complex than buying so there is more room to "overpay" if you don't fully understand it.

^^ Incentives won't overcome a lower residual however. When the '09s are close or launch, the rates will go up and the residuals will go down... the two biggest factors on good vs. bad lease. You may (read again... may) find something like reduced or no driveoff, however you'll be contracted on a lower residual and paying more in rate so you actually wasted time and money by stalling.

Let's not forget that 2008 models are now pretty much done so what's left is left. If you get picky and decide you can only buy an Athens Blue with a Stone interior and won't settle for a non-Technology package model, Infiniti won't build one so if it exists on the ground somewhere, that's your only shot at it or pay the premium for a 2009 model (I see this exact scenario every year starting around now...)

I live in San Diego and was able to get the dealer to agree to invoice price pretty quickly. You don't have to wait for the 09's to get an 08 at invoice. Try e-mailing the three San Diego dealers through edmunds.com to get quotes from their internet service sales-people before you go in.
