May rates? Incentives? Rebates?

All i know is 2.9 is extended until 6/30.

One dealer was telling me he'll give me some of the holdback.

I wonder if its because there is some new May manufacturing incentive... Any one get below invoice pricing for may?

Mike, Have you heard of any May incentives other than the extension?

Company vehicle for 30days... No reason for me to rush to start payments on a new car for AVERAGE pricing.

Maybe this level of vehicle just isn't right for you in that case.

So G37's are for individuals who rush into car deals?

G37's are for individuals that want value for their money. Shop a BMW; much higher price, bad rep mechanically, below average resell value, and a "smoking" deal is $1,500 over invoice. Have you considered a V6 Solara with a $2,000 rebate perhaps?

Dealers are losing money on their inventory after 90 days, my area has a surplus. The VALUE of G37 has went down thus my payment for the vehicle has GONE DOWN. Simple economics.
If you want to PAY the VALUE of a vehicle, you would have to be the OEM. VALUE otherwise is quite subjective hence your snark comment about the solara being WHOLLY irrelevant to the discussion of the "true" VALUE of a G37.

Okay, you caught me, I was being a smartass, granted. Business is still business however. If I have the exact coupe you want in my inventory and I'm the only one in all of the Western U.S. to have it, then I have a right to make a few bucks on it, regardless of flooring or aging. It's simple economics, much like gas prices today. What comes in the mail in the form of a payment is subject to final price paid including all your taxes and fees due to the governement and the rate that the bank will be charging you. Period. If you're concerned about a payment, this vehicle might not be for you however if you want value for what the vehicle has (package-wise) as compared to others like it in the market today, then simply work with your local dealer and work a deal.

Bottom line, I know you and everyone else in the whole entire world wants a great deal, however we in the automotive industry will still make a dollar from you in any transaction. If you're that cheap, save your pennies, don't tip the waitress, and become a hermit. If you want a truly great experience when purchasing this vehicle or any other, just understand that you will still be paying a little something in the end and your transaction will be much more smoother and enjoyable. You, my friend, are a CSI nightmare waiting to happen which is why you still haven't found your deal. The fact that your deal isn't doable is still another fact altogether.

You can make your money off financing and manufacturing incentives. Not the vehicle sale price. The economy sucks, G37 is a gas guzzler so expect to LOSE your 3-5% margin of profit. Pretending like you aren't making money on the deal is just as bad as a sales guy saying "i need to feed my kids" only to return to their million dollar home.

What kind of magical experience do you think we buyers have when we walk into a dealership? Whats magical is getting the car for the price you want...not paying for some "experience" or "karma."

I am a surgeon and not a magician, brotha. I want a scratch handicap in golf, a model wife, and the ability to never get a speeding ticket. Possible? Maybe, however you too as a consumer need to be realistic with a purchase like this. I'd much rather sell my car at invoice to a happy customer that is satisified through and through vs. taking a loser deal on someone that will just burn me and my dealership in the end. Gas is too high and the economy sucks... not my fault and nor is it yours, but someone will want to buy the exact same vehicle that you do and pay more for it therefore you lose your holy grail in what you think is a red hot smoking deal that Mr. Infiniti himself couldn't do for you and that is get you the very vehicle that you want for that insane price you're asking for.

The purchasing experience should be a positive one for you and if that's not the case, wait until the early adopters come off lease and grab one of those at a fantastic savings to you. Otherwise, if I can come up with one and you wash, clean, detail, fill up the gas tank, go to the DMV and the bank yourself and handle everything on your own, come see me and pick up your car.
