6 Months Remaining w/ a 2007 A4 Premium lease

Quick question for everyone..

I have 6 months remaining on my 2007 A4 Premium. It's on a 24 month/15K miles per year lease. I currently have 15K miles on the car and passenger side of the car was keyed and will have to be sprayed over (Bastards whoever did this!!!).

My next car is definitely a G37 and I want a 2 year/12K miles per year lease. Of course I'm shooting to get the car at invoice.

What can I expect if I start negotiating now? Or should I wait till October since 11/15 is the turn in date for the A4? Do you guys thnk the pricing will be better in October since the 09's should be out or soon to be?

What can you expect? Rolling in six payments in to the new lease, that's what! Lease payments don't just disappear so either you make them or they get capitalized into the lease (you're still paying for it then too). Contractually, you're obligated to complete the lease whether it's Audi, Infiniti, Hyundai, Ferrari, etc.

In October, the 2009 models will then be available however you'll be faced with horrible rate and residual on available 2008 models making that lease ugly, or the 2009 models holding their price with a very nice residual however high MF (all due to market conditions).

Damn only half the mileage!? I say turn it in early if you're 15k miles under your lease agreement.

I was thinking about turning it in early (not 6 months early) only because of the low miles and also with the bad timing of lease end date. I wonder if the car is worth more than the buy out price?

If I traded the car in with 1-2 months remaining on lease, do you think the dealership will also pay for the $350 end of lease Audi fee?

Thanks

Work this out with your dealership for the G. Although the statement from Audi for the disposition fee will go to you, it can be worked out on the new lease with Infiniti however just realize either way, you're still paying for it.

Be patient and wait...Cars are a terrible expense to begin with...Add in terminating a lease early and your just asking to get ripped...Honestly, 6 months will fly by...Just dont visit this board every day and look at pictures of G37's and you'll be fine...No need to start negotiating as it only makes it more difficult to wait it out...

Seriously, you will pay for the AUDI REGARDLESS....So save yourself the time and headache of trying to justify a poor financial decision...

Then again, if you absolutely MUST have it...You only live once...

A lot of folks think dealers are helping them get out of their leases without penalty, but 1 way or another, they're rolling the payments owed into your next lease. The only real exceptions are when you're re-leasing with the same manufacturer & dealer.

When there is a "pull-ahead" program available from the manufacturer to swallow up a handful of payments. BTW, doesn't have to be with the same dealer, just the same manufacturer.
