Canadian looking for G37 from USA.
Looking for G37 used ? Does anyone know a good dealership to buy from?
Specifications I'm looking for: Black 6 spd with navigation and premium package and low mileage.

You'll get raped w/ the used prices compared to new, by that I mean you can expect to save almost nothing. The few used G37s that are out there are priced almost as much as new. Considering you can get new for invoice, & that they won't budge that much for a used G37 now, the difference is negligible.
BTW, you should look into buying from a Cdn dealer, the difference isn't that much now. If you don't finance w/ Infiniti (which you wouldn't be able to do w/ Infiniti USA anyway), you get a $4500 rebate. Also, some are able to get another $3500 off the price so that'd be about $8 K off MSRP before taxes.
Factor in possibly shipping (since border dealers haggle less w/ Cdns), duty, & the Cdn $ which has weakened to below parity of late, & the math isn't worth it right now IMO.

I bought in the US & saved big but that was before there was a $4500 rebate, & at the time, US dealers were already discounting big while Cdn dealers weren't (but Cdn Infiniti dealers are feeling the effects & are now discounting "big").
.
i can tell you that i have looked into purchasing from the us and ended up getting it here in canada. if you actually do a search, you can see my comparison sheets that i've attached..
.
the price difference after you factor in the taxes and duty is not worth going over IMO. unless if you think that its worth going over the border to save $3000, then you are right and i withdraw my statements.

Timing is everything my friend..
I saved $13,565.23. This was based on best price from Canada, vs best price from the US for the same configured car. This is AFTER all taxes, duties and import fees etc... If you do a search you'll see that many people have saved thousands by buying in the US and still do.
Again.. timing is everything. It's because of us who went down to the States 4 months ago that you are seeing deals today in Canada.
Today.. do your own comparison and decide for yourself. For most people $3000.00 is alot of money.

I get inquiries monthly from Canadian consumers wishing to "save" money on their purchases, however after you factor shipping and tarrifs, it's a huge hassle and headache not to mention the savings isn't that significant in the end. There's there's the issue with headlights (supposed to be full-time daytime running lights) and rear fog lamps as well (another expense). Unless you're a cash buyer, this isn't a good way to go.
I payed 51.000 tax in for the fully loaded g37s, one like mine cost 55.000 plus tax in Toronto, I got mine from NJ. It was worth the going south. Plus the wait for fully loaded with 4ws in Vibrant red was 3-4 months in Toronto
It's a rebate for people who don't finance via Infiniti &/or pay in full. In the US you'd have to buy it in full anyway, so it's fair to include the rebate in comparing.
I got mine in the US & saved lots at the time, but I'm not going to overstate savings that aren't as much now. I'm not saying it's not worth it for you, just that the real difference is very little now compared to what you think it is.

It's not the hassle or headache that people make it out to be. It's actually very simple once you have all the steps lined out.
